For Environment

We promote environment policy in each walking event and make the rules (clink here for more information) during walking routing which participant must take environment bags during the walking route. In the walking route we use recyclable and recycled materials when possible. We recycle what we can and attempt to keep waste to an absolute minimum. We are involved in on-going walking event of the staff we work with in the CVA to ensure as high as possible standards of environmental care and responsible behavior. When we introduce a new walking event we always consider its environmental impact, and try to reduce this impact to a minimum. On all walking event we aim to minimize waste by using products with minimum packaging, leaving no litter and keeping all water sources clean, leaving camp sites cleaner then we find them.

There are many environmentalists in our walking group. Most of them have been disseminating the green walking policy for a long time, and they believe they could protect the environment and give some ideal mode in the sport areas.

Minimize your environmental impact - Help preserve local wildlife and habitats by respecting rules and regulations, such as sticking to footpaths and not buying products made from plants or animals. Think about what happens to your rubbish - remove extra packaging from anything you are taking with you so as not to add to the rubbish disposal problems, take biodegradable products and a water filter bottle. Be sensitive to limited resources like water, fuel and electricity. Do not pollute or bathe in rivers. Often those streams will be someone's drinking water source further down river Never leave rubbish. Take out what you bring in. Always try to leave a campsite in as good or better state than you found it.
