Mount Kailash is a holy mountain. Over one hundred years, thousands of believers come here for the favor from the god. These believers have chose the simplest and the directest way to near, to look up, to worship the holy place in the heart. This is to walk around the mountain, without any language, just with their own feet to express their piety. No matter whether you are a Buddhism believer or not, as long as you want to know the soul of snow culture, just come here! This is a land to be measured by feet. This is a cultural journey to provide you both food for thought and torture for body.

Mount Kailash --- In the Tibetan language, Mount Kailash literally means "mountain of godness" and "precious jewel of snows". It locates in Burang county with 6638 meters high. It is the main peak in the Gangdisê mountains which is part of the Himalayas in Tibet. Its four sides are symmetrical, just like a pyramid. From its southern side, you can see its famous symbol--- A huge ice slot down from the peak and a horizontal terrane forms a "卐" Buddhism symbol, a symbol of the mental force in Buddhism representing eternal Buddhism and expressing auspicious blessing. Opposite to its southern side sit bright-like-mirror Manasarovar Tso and baffling-like-wind-and-cloud lhanag-tso between the mountains. It has more than 250 glaciers covering 150 quare kilometers. It is a true mother river, the source of some of the longest rivers in Asia --- Heng River, Indus River and the Yarlung Zangbo River.

There have been no recorded attempts to climb Mount Kailash; it is considered off limits to climbers in deference to Buddhist and Hindu beliefs. It is the most significant peak in the world that has not seen any known climbing attempts.
